We have stayed at this location 3 times. Wendy and Jay were very friendly, professional, and efficient at check-in and check-out. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The only issue we had was with housekeeping. On all 3 stays they knocked on the door at 10:30 despite our do not disturb sign and a check out time of 11. On our last stay they knocked at 10:45 was told we would be out by 11. They then called the room phone at 10:59 to see if we had left. We were carring our things to the car. While we were loading our vehicle the female housekeeper parked the golf cart next to thr room and watched us load our belongings. Once we removed all of our stuff from the room. I told her she could go in we where done. She then started the cart and drove off. We are reconsidering our extended stay at this location. We will be working in this area for 3 months.

Share details of your own experience at this place Okay... Details of your own experience at this place. Just kidding! In all seriousness, best motel was the very first place I had ever stayed in the Blue ridge mountains, entirely on my own. I kid you not! Even if it was only just four nights or maybe 3 1/2? Or perhaps three and a half days? Gosh, it doesn't really matter, does it? What matters is how this experience was a turning point for me, personally. It was the second major step in my very gradual transition from being a man who lived with his mom and helped her out as much as he could, on to being a man who lives on his own, and helps completely random The strangers out as much as he can. Yeah, this is right! I've been helping out strangers, because during this year, of 2021, and my first experience of a long-distance trip all on my own, random strangers would simply offer their help to me. Why? I don't know. Maybe it's because they just wanted to. And of course, this includes the staff of this particular motel I stayed at. Plus, the viewing screens they had in the lobby are among the coolest I've ever seen!!

The rooms were clean and spacious. The setting is picturesque with mature trees and a view of the mountains. Breakfast was restricted due to them being in the process of replacing the floor in the lobby/ breakfast area. Would definitely stay there again.

Nice motel with beautiful landscaping and trees surrounding the property. The room was very clean with clean floors and the beds were amazingly comfortable. Decent grab and go breakfast with lots of pastries, coffee and juice. The front desk lady was very helpful and professional. Wifi worked great the whole time, also.

We were pleasantly surprised by a very clean looking and smelling room, we tend to shy away from this chain. Lots of dogs onsite with a Barkway(dog park), waste stations, a stream and railroad track nearby, my dog's nose had a blast! The room had an iron/board, mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, hair dryer, and TV. Provided breakfast is mostly wrapped bakery items and oatmeal packages. The pool was closed in October when we went, and some picnic tables were outside that area. I'd stay again.

Absolutely incredible! The location is beautiful, conveniently right off the highway, and the hotel is very quaint. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We traveled with our 2 puppies, and we were VERY pleasantly surprised that they did not charge a pet fee (many Super 8s do.) Also, the dog park on the premises was awesome. Our puppies hadn't been off leash for over a week during our trip, so they got a chance to run around. If we find ourselves back that way again, we will happily be staying there. Thank you!

After our long drive, we stopped here for a one night stay. Check in was quick and easy with a very nice and friendly front desk gentleman. We parked right in front of our room which was convenient. Our room was clean and nice and cold while it was very hot outside. The refrigerator was large and cold as well for all of our cooler items. Beds were comfortable and got a nice quiet nights rest. Checkout was quick and friendly again. Great little place for an overnight stop!
